Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for this new day and the hope it carries with it. Even before we know what today holds, we choose to begin with expectation rather than dread — trusting that You are already at work in ways we can’t yet see. Fill us with that same hope as we step forward.
Help us to hold onto hope even in the parts of life that feel uncertain or unresolved. So often we let discouragement creep in when things don’t move as quickly as we’d like, but today, we ask for the kind of hope that stays steady regardless of circumstances — rooted not in what we can see, but in who You are.
As we move through today, let hope shape how we face challenges, how we speak to others, and how we carry ourselves. Whatever this day brings, we trust that You are writing a good story, even in the parts we don’t yet understand. Thank You for filling us with a hope that doesn’t disappoint.
A Word of Reflection
Hope isn’t naive optimism — it’s a confident expectation rooted in the character of God. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13) reminds us that real hope is a gift, not something we conjure on our own. This morning, whatever uncertainty lies ahead, we can walk into it with hope, trusting that God is faithfully at work.
