Morning Prayer
Good morning, Lord. Thank You for the gift of this new day — for breath in our lungs, for the light that has found us again, and for Your faithfulness that meets us even before we speak a word. There is something tender about a morning like this, a quiet invitation to come to You just as we are, carrying whatever we bring and trusting that it is enough simply to show up.
We come today holding the places in us that need healing — the wounds that haven’t fully closed, the grief that surfaces when we least expect it, the weariness that rest alone cannot fix. We don’t bring these things to You out of despair; we bring them because we believe You are a God who restores. You don’t look away from our broken places. You meet us there. And so we open our hands this morning, releasing the hurt we’ve carried, and asking You to do what only You can do — bring wholeness to what has been fractured, comfort to what has been grieving, and hope to what has grown tired.
Go with us into this day. Let us carry Your gentleness into the spaces we enter and offer it freely to those around us who are also hurting and in need of grace. You are our healer, and we trust You with every tender place in our lives today.
A Word of Reflection
Healing is one of the most consistent expressions of God’s character throughout Scripture. The prophet reminds us of a truth that reaches across every age and every kind of brokenness: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Whatever you are carrying into this new day — whether it is physical, emotional, or something you don’t yet have words for — know that it is not beyond His reach. God is not overwhelmed by your need. He is moved by it, and He is already at work bringing restoration in ways you may not yet be able to see.
