Morning Prayer

Good morning, and thank You for this new week and the reminder that we are already complete in You. As we begin, we release the pressure to chase wholeness through achievements, relationships, or approval. That completeness was never something we had to earn.

Help us to walk through this week without the constant sense that something is missing or that we need more to feel whole. So often we search in fragmented places for a wholeness that was already given to us. Today, we choose instead to root our sense of completeness in who we already are in You, not in what this week produces.

As this week unfolds, let wholeness settle our hearts, freeing us from constant striving. Whatever this week brings, we trust that we are not lacking, we are not incomplete, we are fully whole in a way nothing external can add to or take away.

A Word of Reflection

Wholeness isn’t something we assemble piece by piece through accomplishment. It’s already given to those rooted in Christ. “In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness” (Colossians 2:9–10) reminds us that completeness was never contingent on our own effort. This morning, as a new week begins, we can walk forward resting in a wholeness that’s already ours.
