Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for the reminder that we are never truly alone, no matter where today takes us. As we begin, we rest in the truth that Your presence isn’t distant or occasional — it’s constant, surrounding every moment of this day before it even begins.
Help us to feel that nearness today, especially in the moments that might feel isolating or overwhelming. Whether we’re facing something difficult or simply moving through the ordinary rhythms of the day, remind us that we’re never navigating any of it unaccompanied. Let that truth quiet any anxious sense of being on our own.
As we step into this Friday, let awareness of Your presence steady us through whatever comes. Whatever this day holds, we trust that we are held, seen, and accompanied every step of the way. Thank You for a presence that never leaves and never grows distant.
A Word of Reflection
There is nowhere we can go that places us beyond God’s presence — not the mountaintop, not the valley, not the ordinary in-between. “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there” (Psalm 139:8) reminds us that closeness with God isn’t conditional on our circumstances. This morning, whatever today holds, we can walk into it knowing we are never truly alone.
