Evening Prayer
Provider God, as this day ends we look back and count what you gave us. Not everything we wanted — but everything we needed. The strength to get through the hard moments. The words that came when we needed them. The small kindnesses that arrived unannounced. You were present in all of it, quietly supplying what we could not manufacture on our own.
Tonight we release tomorrow’s worries before they take root. We choose to rest in the truth that the same God who provided today will provide again. We don’t need to solve everything tonight. We don’t need to have it all figured out before we close our eyes. You are already there in tomorrow, and what we need, you already know. We sleep in that peace.
A Word of Reflection
There is a rest that comes to those who have genuinely learned to trust God’s provision — not a passive resignation, but an active confidence built on evidence. By evening, that evidence has accumulated again. “My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). The riches Paul speaks of are not limited by our circumstances or our economy — they flow from a source that does not run dry. Rest tonight knowing you are provided for, fully and faithfully.
