Morning Prayer
Good morning, Lord. We come to you at the start of this new week with gratitude on our lips and a quiet hope in our hearts. Thank you for the rest of the weekend, for the moments of stillness and connection, and for bringing us to this morning whole. We do not take lightly the gift of a new beginning — another Monday, another chance to walk with you, to love those around us, and to trust in your goodness no matter what the week holds.
Today, we carry healing on our hearts. Some of us wake with wounds that others cannot see — grief tucked beneath the surface, old hurts that flare up without warning, or a weariness that sleep alone cannot fix. We bring all of it to you this morning. You are the God who mends what is broken, who reaches into the places we have hidden away and offers something no doctor can prescribe: wholeness that flows from your love. Heal us, Lord, in the ways we know we need it — and in the ways only you can see. Walk with us through this Monday and remind us that we are not beyond your reach.
A Word of Reflection
There is a tenderness in the way God heals that goes far beyond the physical. He does not simply repair — he restores. Scripture tells us that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). This is not a distant God who observes our pain from afar; this is a God who draws near, who notices the hidden places of hurt, and who works gently toward wholeness. As you begin this week, you do not have to carry your brokenness alone. Bring it to him. He is already at work.
