Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for another day of Your faithfulness. Before anything else, we want to pause and recognize how You have provided for us — not just in big, obvious ways, but in the quiet, ordinary provisions we sometimes overlook. Today, we choose to notice them, and we choose to be grateful.
There may be things we’re worried about providing for ourselves today — time, strength, answers, resources. Help us to release that worry and trust that You already know what we need before we ask. Teach us to hold our plans loosely and our dependence on You tightly. Whatever this day requires of us, we believe You will meet us with exactly what we need, exactly when we need it.
As we step into today, let gratitude shape how we see everything that comes our way. Let us notice Your hand in the small provisions as much as the large ones, and let that awareness keep us close to You. Thank You for going ahead of us into this day, already preparing what we’ll need before we even arrive.
A Word of Reflection
Provision isn’t just about having enough — it’s about trusting the One who supplies it. “My God will meet all your needs” (Philippians 4:19) reminds us that God’s care for us isn’t distant or uncertain; it’s personal and complete. This morning, we can set down our anxious calculations about what we lack and instead rest in the confidence that we are being cared for. Whatever today asks of us, we walk into it trusting that we will be provided for, exactly as we need.
