Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for meeting us here with grace we didn’t earn and don’t deserve. Before we even begin this day, we want to acknowledge how much we depend on Your kindness — not our own performance, not our own effort, but simply the gift of Your presence with us.
There will be moments today when we fall short, when we feel weak or unprepared for what’s ahead. In those moments, remind us that grace isn’t something we have to work for; it’s something freely given, especially in our weakest places. Help us to stop measuring ourselves by perfection and instead rest in the truth that Your strength shows up most clearly when we admit we don’t have it all together.
As we step into today, let grace shape how we treat ourselves and how we treat others. Let us extend the same patience we’ve received, especially to those who are struggling. Thank You for meeting us not with judgment, but with a love that covers every gap.
A Word of Reflection
Grace meets us exactly where we are, not where we wish we were. “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Corinthians 12:9) reminds us that our weaknesses aren’t disqualifying — they’re the very places where God’s strength becomes visible. This morning, whatever feels insufficient in us, we can trust that grace fills the gap completely. We don’t need to be perfect today; we only need to remain open to receiving it.
