Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for this new day and the fresh chance to seek You in it. As we begin, we admit there are things we don’t fully understand — decisions ahead of us, situations that feel unclear, moments where we simply don’t know the right way forward. This morning, we ask for wisdom.
Help us to trust that we don’t need to have all the answers on our own. Wisdom isn’t something we manufacture through worry or overthinking — it’s something You freely give to those who ask. Quiet our anxious minds today, and help us to listen more than we speak, to pause before we react, and to seek Your guidance before we rely on our own understanding.
As we step into this Friday, let wisdom shape our choices, our words, and our patience with others. Whatever decisions this day brings, we trust that You will guide us if we simply ask and stay open to hearing You. Thank You for meeting our uncertainty with clarity and peace.
A Word of Reflection
Wisdom begins with the humility to admit we don’t already have it all figured out. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God” (James 1:5) reminds us that seeking guidance isn’t a weakness — it’s an invitation to trust God’s understanding over our own. This morning, whatever decisions or uncertainties lie ahead, we can ask boldly, trusting that wisdom will be given generously, not withheld.
