Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for the gift of renewed strength with each new day. As we begin today, we ask for fresh energy where we feel worn down, fresh perspective where we feel stuck, and a fresh sense of Your presence where we’ve felt distant. We don’t have to carry yesterday’s weariness into today.
Help us to release the tiredness that builds when we try to push through on our own strength. You promise renewal to those who wait on You, and this morning, we choose to wait — to pause and receive rather than rush ahead depleted. Refresh what feels tired in us: our patience, our motivation, our hope.
As we step into today, let renewal show up in small, steady ways — a clearer mind, a lighter heart, a strength that isn’t our own. Whatever this day requires of us, we trust that You are equipping us fresh, moment by moment, rather than expecting us to run on what’s already spent.
A Word of Reflection
Renewal isn’t about starting completely over — it’s about receiving fresh strength for exactly where we are. “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles” (Isaiah 40:31) reminds us that waiting on God isn’t passive; it’s how we’re strengthened for what’s ahead. This morning, whatever feels depleted in us, we can bring it to Him and trust that renewal is already on its way.
