Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for Your faithfulness that never wavers, even when ours does. As we begin today, we want to rest in the truth that Your steadiness isn’t dependent on our performance — it’s simply who You are, constant through every season and every circumstance.
Help us to draw strength from Your faithfulness today, especially in the areas where we feel inconsistent or unsure of ourselves. When we fall short, remind us that Your commitment to us doesn’t waver just because ours sometimes does. Let that truth anchor us, freeing us from the pressure to somehow earn a steadiness that’s already freely given.
As we step into today, let us reflect faithfulness in the small, ordinary ways — showing up reliably for others, keeping our word, staying consistent even when no one’s watching. Thank You for a faithfulness that has never once failed us, and let that same faithfulness shape how we live today.
A Word of Reflection
Faithfulness isn’t about perfection — it’s about a steadiness that holds even when we don’t. “If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself” (2 Timothy 2:13) reminds us that God’s commitment to us was never contingent on our consistency. This morning, whatever insecurities we carry about our own reliability, we can rest in a faithfulness that never depended on us in the first place.
