Morning Prayer

Good morning. Thank You for this new day and for the quiet mercy of waking up to try again. Before our minds fill with the tasks ahead, we want to pause here with You, grateful simply for breath, for light through the window, and for another chance to walk closely with You.

Today we ask for help to trust You — not the easy kind of trust that only shows up when life is calm, but the deeper kind that holds steady even when we can’t see the full picture. So much of what’s ahead of us today is uncertain: outcomes we can’t control, people we can’t change, decisions we’re still wrestling with. We don’t have to have it all figured out. We simply want to lean on You instead of leaning on our own limited understanding, trusting that You see what we cannot.

Walk with us through this day, Lord. When doubt creeps in, remind us gently that You have never once failed to be faithful. Let our trust in You grow not because circumstances become easier, but because we keep choosing to place our hand in Yours, one moment at a time.

A Word of Reflection

Trust becomes real not in the absence of uncertainty, but in the middle of it. Scripture invites us into this kind of trust plainly: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5). This isn’t a call to stop thinking or planning — it’s an invitation to hold our plans loosely and our faith tightly, knowing that God’s wisdom reaches further than our own ever could. Wherever today takes you, you don’t have to walk it alone or carry the weight of figuring it all out yourself.
