Morning Prayer — Restoration | Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Morning Prayer

Good morning, and thank You for the promise of restoration, even in the places that feel worn down or broken. As we begin today, we bring whatever feels depleted — energy, relationships, hope — and ask for Your restoring hand to work in it, in Your timing and Your way.

Help us to trust that nothing is too far gone for You to rebuild. Whether it’s something we’ve lost, something that’s been damaged, or simply the wear of ordinary life, remind us that restoration isn’t beyond reach. Let today be a small step in that process, even if we can’t yet see the full picture of how it’s happening.

As we step into today, let hope for restoration replace any resignation we’ve carried. Whatever feels broken right now, we trust that You are in the business of making things whole again, often in ways we don’t expect. Thank You for a faithfulness that restores what time and hardship have worn away.

A Word of Reflection

Restoration reminds us that no season of loss is beyond God’s ability to renew. “I will restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten” (Joel 2:25) reminds us that God doesn’t just comfort us in loss — He actively rebuilds what was taken. This morning, whatever feels depleted or broken, we can trust that restoration is possible, even when it doesn’t look the way we expect.
