Morning Prayer
Good morning, Lord. We come to You at the start of this new day with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of rest, for breath in our lungs, and for the faithful way You have brought us once again to the light. There is something deeply reassuring about morning — the reminder that You make all things new, that Your mercies are not rationed but poured out freely. Before the noise of the day finds us, we want to find You first.
Father, we ask today for courage. Not the kind that comes from certainty or comfort, but the kind that moves forward anyway — the kind that trusts You in the unknown, that says yes even when the path ahead is unclear. You have promised to be with us wherever we go, and so we go. Strengthen our hearts for what today holds. Make us bold in kindness, steady in purpose, and unshaken in our confidence that You are leading the way. We are not walking into this day alone. Amen.
A Word of Reflection
Courage is not the absence of fear — it is the decision to move forward in faith despite it. God does not call us to a life free of challenges, but He does promise His presence in every one of them. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9 This promise was spoken to Joshua on the edge of the unknown, and it speaks just as powerfully to us today. Whatever this Tuesday holds, we do not face it alone — and that changes everything.
