Morning Prayer
Good morning, and thank You for this new day and the chance to love You more wholeheartedly in it. As we begin, we ask for hearts fully devoted — not divided between competing priorities, but centered on You above everything else today asks of us.
Help us to place You first, not as an afterthought squeezed between tasks, but as the foundation everything else is built upon. When distractions pull our attention elsewhere, remind us that true devotion isn’t about perfect focus every moment — it’s about consistently returning our hearts back to You, again and again throughout the day.
As we step into today, let devotion shape our priorities, our choices, and our love for others. Whatever this day asks of us, we want our hearts to remain anchored in loving You fully, trusting that everything else finds its right place when that love comes first.
A Word of Reflection
Devotion isn’t about flawless focus — it’s about a heart consistently oriented toward God, even amid distraction. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37) reminds us that wholehearted love is the foundation everything else is meant to rest on.
